    Meet Gustaf!

    Available on Dollectable

Gustaf is single and looking!  He's a handsome young imp, desperately seeking a friend for life.  Must love pets and bugs, enjoy eating ice cream and not-so-long walks in his magical forest.  He'd rather sit with you on top of the highest tree to see the sunset, catching fireflies for you to guide your way home.

    Needle Felting with Milo

    threading beads

Meet Milo...a sweet, sensitive boy that I have the privilege of working with almost everyday!  His mama is one crafty lady, and he seems to be following in her footsteps.  Today he's using the needle felting machine to create a special gift for her.

Gustav the Imp is getting fitted for his Shloopy Pants. I'm getting requests in every direction for real, human adult sizes, haha.

Baby Boy Doll - Recreating a timeless pattern

Sixteen years ago I created Tuddles, a baby boy doll for my son Alexander.  Today I am taking inspiration from this timeless pattern and creating a new, modern version.

Time flies when you're having fun!

Wow, can you believe it is already the end of April?  Where does the time go...I get older by the minute before I get too far past myself!  I'm working all the time, and sometimes I feel like I'm just getting nowhere.

I'm happy to have my own little world though, where I can get lost in my creativity, bringing my little make-believe dolls to life.  You're never too old for make-believe.  Do you hear me?  It brings me so much joy to be playful, and to come up with new stories for the dolls to share.

I'm so happy with this profile!

    Meet Kuniko!

Sometimes I wish there were more of me...one for facebook, one for blogger, one for emails, one for running my household, and one for for making dolls (I volunteer for the last one!).

Who can ever find enough time for everything?  On top of all of that, I have to spell check everything because of my broken English and also try to get past my disdain for that lovely thing we call a computer, grr.  I have no idea how some of you do it all!

Sorry for my rant   Moving on....

Here are a few photos of my new doll, Kuniko!  Be sure to scroll down to view the video with all the detail...

    Meet Penny Butterbottom!

Meet Penny Butterbottom!  She is so curious about everything.  One time, she took the butter out of my refrigerator, spread it on my wooden floor and went a'polishing.

Creating jointed limbs for soft sculpture dolls

I'm working on someone new and am pretty happy with how the limbs have turned out.  I've got the joints together just right so she can sit perfectly in any position.

    Yummy, golden hair!
